Learn MoreHi there, I'm a product leader, entrepreneur, and former journalist. I enjoy working on complex problems; whether it’s scaling product teams in fast growing tech businesses, creating products that delight customers or figuring out entry strategies for foreign markets.
Being involved in media, government, business, and technology has allowed me to experience the world in really unique ways. Most recently, I had the privilege of leading several product teams for Russia’s largest fashion and lifestyle e-commerce business. There I was responsible for two top strategic product streams for the company: premium and discovery. Premium is all about creating a world class customer experience around premium and luxury brands. Discovery is about connecting customers with products through top quality content.
Prior to Lamoda, I led two technology startups. Some of the issues we tackled were increasing access to personalized education, improving business performance through intelligent meeting summaries, or finding ways to make feedback trackable and effective. The latest startup, Axon, was acquired in May, 2016.
Before my time in tech, I spent two years traveling around the world and evaluating investment opportunities in the energy industry. My first real job was on Capitol Hill where one of my main projects was helping develop cybercrime legislation so the US can better fight cyber attacks through cooperation with countries abroad.
I graduated from Emory with a BA in Middle Eastern and South East Asian Studies, Chinese Language and Literature, and a minor in Arabic. I have also studied at Middlebury College, the American University of Beirut, and Harbin Technology University.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me traveling, roadtripping, or playing squash.
